I took the time to learn how to improve my lighting in Unreal Engine, and it made a huge difference in my projects. By exploring various tutorials and experimenting with different techniques, I gained a better understanding of how to create realistic and dynamic lighting. This included learning about light types, adjusting light intensity, and using shadows effectively to enhance the overall atmosphere. The improvements in lighting not only made my scenes more visually appealing but also added depth and realism, elevating the quality of my work significantly.

However, I chose to use Maya instead of Unreal Engine for my final major project for several reasons. Firstly, converting the rigs into Unreal Engine would have been too time-consuming, as it requires ensuring the rig is in the proper form, which can be a meticulous and lengthy process. Additionally, I had more confidence in using Maya, as I was more familiar with its tools and workflows compared to Unreal Engine. This familiarity allowed me to work more efficiently and effectively, ensuring a higher quality outcome for my project.
