Company Role/ Research

During my time as a creative student in Ravensbourne, I always had a keen interest in the art of storytelling through moving image, which is an ideology which I would like to incorporate into my final major project. I have learned many practical and theoretical methods which allows me to effectively tell a cohesive story in an animation format.

My current plans for the future is to go into a previs animation to hence why i have chosen the companies..

Marvel Animation Studio

Location: New York City or Los Angeles

Software

Maya, 3ds Max, Modo

Zbrush, Mudbox for sculpting.

Job Requirments/Internships:

 

-Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class.

 

-Be prepared to travel to either our New York City office or one of our Los

 

-All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.

 

-All candidates must be able to maintain a consistent work schedule throughout the session.

Previs / Layout Artist

 

Location: london

 

Requirements:

Previz and layout, Thorough knowledge of Autodesk Maya 

 

-Creation of proxy assets for 3d previz 

-Translation of storyboards and animatics into 3d previz 

-Staging, blocking and camera work in 3d layout 

 

 -Finessing of cameras at animation stage where required 

 

-Maintaining consistent quality, style and continuity, both visually and technically throughout the project
